Thanks guys, it did work out pretty awesome! I was playing it last night, and the Schaller pickup screams. It has that old hot rodded PAF sound, and I believe something with the single pickup route gives it a nice tight tone. The coil tap sounds really good as well.

I have to disassemble the guitar again

1. goof off the marker i used as a guide
2. put a little bit of super glue in the paint areas under the neck plate because paint was cracked under the neck plate, also near the old floyd post holes to make sure.
3. assemble guitar, and give it a final setup with radius gauge and set intonation

Once all that is done, i'll have a rocking Special

I run firefox portable from a thumb drive.

What has me scratching my head is that there is an auto convert that should make the linked pictures appear here in the forum.
