I have never owned a scooped Kramer either. From the pics it looks like the back side is scooped as well. Is that the case and does it feel like the fact that the back of the body is contoured helps or feels better when playing high up the fret board? The top side scoop seems like it has to help....

It is also scooped in the back. It does help playing high. The body feels a lot different than all the other Barettas I've owned. It's just a beautiful guitar now. Of course the neck is fast and the action is super low with 0 fret buzz. I went through every screw on it and got rid of years of neglect. Looks like new now though.

It came with a road case from the band Landslide. A sturdy case for sure. I have new pics after being cleaned, oiled and polished. I just want to hang it on the wall and look at it.
